The Long Range Dual Motor with Performance Pack version of the Polestar 3 uses a pair of 380-kW motors and the same battery pack described above to output 517 horsepower and 671 pound-feet of torque. When you lay on the accelerator, you'll be able to jump to 60 in 4.6 seconds. This model enjoys the same towing capacity as the Long Range Dual Motor version of this new all-electric luxury SUV.
Another place of divergence between these two cars is their expected driving range. The Long Range Dual Motor model enjoys an EPA-estimated driving range of 300 miles,1 while the Performance Pack iteration has an estimated distance of 270 miles.1 The Performance Pack model has more muscular motors to power its battery, so it makes sense that it has a little less range than the other version.
