As of this writing in November 2023, the Polestar 2 does not qualify for the federal electric vehicle tax credit because it is not assembled in the United States. Polestar is, however, offering a Clean Vehicle Rebate of $1,000 off the MSRP2 for customers who purchase a new 2024 Polestar 2. This car may also be eligible for local and state tax credits.
