Trim Levels (Exterior)
The 2023 Volvo XC90 is available in three trims: Core, Plus, and Ultimate. Each of these models features a unique powertrain, which determines the model's power and output. The Core is the entry-level trim and comes with either the B5 or B6 engine. With the Plus being the mid-level trim, it includes everything the Core has and adds headlight washers, leather upholstery, and wood interior trim. Standing firm on 21-inch wheels, the top-of-the-line Ultimate trim features heated and ventilated front seats, air suspension, and a premium wool blend upholstery. All the trim levels feature an all-wheel-drive system mated to an eight-speed transmission unit.
Engine (Power)
On the 2023 Volvo XC90, all three trims receive a battery pack for efficiency and low carbon emissions. You have different engine options with the performance of this SUV as well. There’s a 2.0-liter B5 engine connected to a 48-volt battery, which combined produces 247 horsepower. For the B6 engine, you get a combined output of 295 horsepower.
