Trim Levels (Exterior)

You can choose from six trim levels with the Sienna: the LE, XLE, XSE, 25th Anniversary Edition, Limited, and Platinum. The base trim is well-equipped with standard features like LED headlights and taillights, LED daytime running lights, and heated and power-adjustable mirrors with blind-spot warning indicators. You also receive dual power-sliding doors, 17-inch alloy wheels, and a rear spoiler.

The XLE trim adds LED fog lights, hands-free dual power-sliding doors, a power liftgate, and a power tilt/slide moonroof. Upgraded features on the XSE trim include LED-strip daytime running lights, premium LED taillights, black side rocker panels, a sport mesh front grille, and 20-inch wheels.

The new 25th Anniversary Edition trim features side mirrors with puddle lights and a reverse tilt-down function, black roof rails, and black exterior badging. With the Limited trim, you receive 18-inch bright wheels and chrome roof rails. The top-of-the-range Platinum trim comes with signature Bi-LED projector headlights, side mirrors with a panoramic view monitor, 20-inch metallic wheels, and rain-sensing windshield wipers.

Engine (Power)

All Sienna trims derive their power from a hybrid powertrain that consists of a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and two front electric motors that deliver a combined 245 horsepower. A continuously variable transmission (CVT) comes standard, and so does front-wheel drive. An all-wheel-drive system is available across all trims and includes a rear motor.

Performance

The hybrid powertrain of the Sienna delivers excellent fuel economy, with an EPA-estimated 36 mpg in the city and 36 mpg on the highway for front-wheel-drive models. Estimated ratings for all-wheel-drive models are only slightly lower at 35 mpg in the city and 36 mpg on the highway. The engine also provides a decent maximum towing capacity of 3,500 pounds. For added safety and control on gravel or slippery roads, opt for the available all-wheel-drive system.

Interior

The cabin of the Sienna offers three rows of seats that can accommodate either seven or eight passengers, depending on the configuration you choose. A roomy rear cargo area provides 33.5 cubic feet of space, which can expand to a maximum cargo area of 101 cubic feet by folding down all the rear seats.

With the standard 9-inch infotainment system, you receive six speakers, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, Bluetooth, SiriusXM, and six USB charge ports. Other standard features include three-zone automatic climate control, fabric-trimmed seats, a rear-window defogger, and a push-button start. For an even more luxurious ride, opt for available features such as four-zone automatic climate control, wireless smartphone charging, leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, and heated second-row seats.

Safety Features

All Sienna trims come standard with the Toyota Safety Sense suite, which features pre-collision alert with pedestrian detection, lane-departure alert, lane-tracing assist, radar cruise control, and road sign assist. All trims also include a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert.
