Trim Levels (Exterior)
The 2023 Seltos has five trims: LX, S, EX, Nightfall, and SX. You can find ample features with the SUV, like automatic on/off headlights, front and rear skid plates, and high-beam assist. For 2023, the one exterior change is acoustic glass for the windows on every trim level. Fog lights, LED daytime running lights and taillights, heated side mirrors with turn signals, and silver roof rails are also available, plus a two-tone roof and roof-colored side mirrors are options. You can add a power sunroof and tinted glass, and the Nightfall has an exclusive design and gloss-black treatment.
Engine (Power)
The Seltos can use one of two engines, the first being a 2.0-liter four-cylinder with a continuously automatic transmission and 146 horsepower. The alternative 1.6-liter turbocharged engine with a 7-speed transmission requires all-wheel drive and outputs 175 horsepower. This engine appears on the Nightfall and SX.
Performance
Overall, the 2023 Seltos brings a great performance as it has in the prior model years, with firm handling and a choice of powerful engines. It can handle daily commutes, tight parking lots, and long trips up a mountain with ease, especially in all-wheel drive. Even the front-wheel-drive models are fun to drive and stable at hard corners.
Interior
The Seltos is well-equipped on the inside, with climate control, 26.6 cubic feet of cargo space, an 8-inch touchscreen, a 3.5-inch driver information display, a USB port, two 12-volt outlets, remote keyless entry, a two-level cargo floor, and a 60/40-split folding and reclining rear seat. Bluetooth and voice commands are both standard, as well. Heated front seats are available, and you can enjoy Android Auto and Apply CarPlay, push-button start, automatic climate control, LED cabin lighting, and a 10.25-inch touchscreen with built-in navigation. Opt for luxurious features, like heated front seats, imitation leather seating, wireless phone charging, and a 10-way driver's seat.
Safety Features
The 2023 Kia Seltos offers a good variety of driver assistance features, including driver-alert warning, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, lane follow assist, and forward collision warning with both automatic braking and pedestrian detection. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are also available options. Feel free to add adaptive cruise control, highway driving assist, and safe exit alert, too!
